Announcing VMware Validated Design 6.0.1

Yesterday, June 25th 2020, VMware has announced the General Availability (GA) of VMware Validated Design for Software-Defined Data Center 6.0.1.

VMware Validated Design is a comprehensive blueprint that consists of a family of solutions which is used to build a Software Defined Data Center. VMware Validated Design is tested by VMware to ensure that all components and their individual versions work together, scale, and perform as expected.

VVD 6.0.1 New Features:

  • Updated Bill of Materials that incorporates new product versions.
  • Individual Planning and Preparation Workbook version for VMware Validated Design 6.0.1.
  • Update guidance from VMware Validated Design 6.0 to VMware Validated Design 6.0.1.
  • Operational Verification guidance for VMware Validated Design 6.0.0 that you can also apply to this VMware Validated Design.
